This policy explains what STAX collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your account: email address, name if you give one, and how you sign in (password, email link or Google).
• The Macs signed in to your account: a name you can see, the app version and when each was last used.
• Remote producer access you grant: who can control your show and when access started or ended.

What stays on your Mac

Your camera, microphone, screen and recordings are processed on your Mac. When you go live, video goes from your Mac to the platforms you choose. Platform sign-ins (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) are stored in your Mac’s Keychain, not on our servers.

Guests

Guests join through a link and don’t need an account. Their audio and video pass through our real-time media provider only while they are connected.

Service providers

We use Supabase for accounts, Vercel to host this website and LiveKit for guest video. They process data only to run STAX.

Your choices

You can sign Macs out, revoke producers and delete your account at any time. Contact support@staxlive.app for a copy or deletion of your data.
